Niche marketing is very unique. There are millions of niche marketing type websites on the internet, unfortunately few survive. On the flip side, many continue to crop up and try again and again; the reason being that those few that have survived have done quite well, with what appears to be little effort. The reason that those few sites have maintained and flourished is because they engaged sincere efforts in proper SEO techniques for niche marketing sites.  This type of site is different from the regular, mainstream site, as the name implies, “a niche market is a group of consumers that all have a very specific need or want”. They offer something that fits into the niche of one’s personal interest, abilities or needs. As such, the marketing and SEO must be targeted this way.

 

With the whole World Wide Web at your fingertips, it is necessary to narrow the target audience down by using very specific keywords and phrases for the product or service that you have to offer. Think about the words that someone needing your product might type into the search bar. Narrowing the field down will help you reach people that are looking for exactly what you are selling.

 

Cater to your clientele. Offer them something that other niche sites do not, rather than a single landing page with a hard sales pitch to buy this product that will be the best product they have ever seen, perhaps you can offer them a small website that they navigate around to get to know you. Make them comfortable let them know that you know your business. A FAQ page or a few helpful information articles would be extremely effective, search engines and customers, alike, love these pages – It’s content that will boost your page rank and move you closer to the top ten. Once you have optimized your site for your niche market, all you need to do is simply relate to your customer and let the sale happen.
